Starting 2016/2017 study year, RISEBA FAD relaunches cycle of open guest lectures - SLICE OF ARCHITECTURE. First SLICE of the fall semester will take place on Thursday, Sep 22, 13:00 with the lecture "Understanding the context in building reconstruction" by architect LIENE GRIEZĪTE.
RISEBA Arhitektūras un Dizaina fakultātes "Slice of Architecture" atklāto lekciju cikla ietvaros ceturtdien, 14. aprīlī, plkst. 12:00 par tendencēm pilsētplānotāju mainīgajā lomā stāstīs ģeogrāfs un dabas zinātņu maģistrs, pilsētvides, teritoriālās un transporta attīstības speciālists, Linstow Center Management projektu direktors un Latvijas Teritoriālplānotāju asociācijas valdes priekšsēdētājs Andis Kublačovs.
RISEBA Arhitektūras un dizaina fakultātes rīkotais Slice of Architecture atklāto lekciju cikls turpinās arī 2016. gada pavasarī. Ceturtdien, 31. martā, plkst. 12.30 arhitekts Austris Mailītis stāstīs par Mežaparka Lielās estrādes pārbūves projektu.
SLICE OF ARCHITECTURE is a lecture cycle organized by SO FAD*, when each week different architects and theorists will discuss and tell about the architecture, design practices, study experience in Latvia and abroad, architectural theory and philosophy. Upcoming SLICE will happen on Tuesday, April 9, 16:00 with a lecture Research by design by NADIA CASABELLA (BE) who is a researcher at LoUIsE (Laboratory of urbanism infrastructures and ecology), Free University of Brussels.
