Exibition "Bauhaus and International style buildings in Tel Aviv: maintenance and renovation"

From February 27 to April 1 RISEBA H2O6 Architecture and Media Center will host an exhibition “Bauhaus and International Style Buildings in Tel Aviv: Maintenance and Renovation”

The exhibition presents the unique architectural heritage of the Bauhaus in Tel Aviv, which dates back to the 1930s. 

The exhibition is authored by co-founder of Bauhaus center in Tel Aviv, Dr. Miha Gross, who explores Tel Aviv's modern cultural heritage with great enthusiasm and introduces it to those interested.

Opening of the exhibition on February 27 at 16.00 at the RISEBA H2O6 Center for Architecture and Media, Durbes Street 4, 1st floor lobby.

SLICE OF ARCHITECTURE: Finnish Institute in Estonia introduces project in NARVA "Reconfiguring Territories" Camera

Slice of Architecture at FAD on Thursday, Feb 13, 13.00 –>>> Kadri Kaljurand from Finnish institute in Estonia will present interdisciplinary project (Re)configuring Territories, which is  a research program for emerging architects, artists, designers, programmers and urban planners. The program takes place at the Narva Art Residency, in Narva, eastern Estonia.


The lecture will be held @ H2O 6 kvartāls, Architecture and media centre, 4 Durbes Street, 3rd floor design studio. Welcome!

RISEBA BA&MA Architecture program Thesis project defense 2020 Camera

January 30 and 31 The Bachelor and Master program final Thesis will be defended at the FAD! Altogether 14 upcoming graduates and emerging architects will defend their thesis projects on architecture and urban strategies in order to receive Bachelor degree of Engineering Sciences in Architecture and Professional Master’s degree in Architecture.

FAD Master's programme graduate Ruta Rinkule – winner of BAUA Awards 2019 Camera

FAD Master's programme graduate Ruta Rinkule receives award for the best architecture graduation project in the annual BAUA Awards 2019 show held on Nov 9 in Riga. BAUA Awards is an exhibition and competition of the best projects of young Baltic architects happening already for the seventh time with the aim to present, compare and award the best graduation works of architecture students from the Baltic States.
The graduation works were evaluated by the jury, consisting of licensed architects who are not involved in teaching architecture at any of the participating schools in Estonia, Latvia or Lithuania – the Union of International Architects Secretary General Serban Tiganas and representatives from each Baltic state – architects Ilze Mekša, Igns Ogints ("DO Architects") and Narva city chief architect Ivan Sergejev.

Painting exhibition"horizon" by Rudolfs Dainis Šmits at the H2O 6 quarter from November 14

From Nov 14, 16.00 until Dec 31 H2O 6 Quarter will host paintings exhibition by architect, FAD tutor and guest lecturer Rudolfs Dainis Šmits. The exhibition titled "horizon" manifests transitions and beginnings.

The paintings exhibition will be on display on the ground floor foyer of 4 Durbes Street.

Rudolfs Dainis Smits, Dipl. Arch., is RISEBA guest lecturer and globally experienced architect, currently leading his own practice RDSA Studio based in Riga. He studied architecture, art history, and painting at the University of Illinois, Chicago and theology at Covenant Theological Seminary. St. Louis, U.S.A.
