Liepāja Architecture Days

Last Thursday, October 8th, two of our dear FAD lecturers and one MA student shared their knowledge at the event “Arhitektūras dienas Liepājā: Kultūrtirgus – vieta, kur cilvēki satiekas.”

• FAD Lecturer and Urbanist Jonas Buchel gave his lecture on the theme: “Market square- Melting pot- Hearth of the Town.”

• FAD Lecturer and Board Member at the Latvian Association of Architects (LAS) Dace Kalvāne, discussed about “Procurements and Tenders: Challenges and Best Practices.”

• 1st Year MA Student Emilija Anete Ozoliņa presented her Bachelor Thesis project, “The New Market Square.”

The three of them were amongst other specialists in the field of urban planning and architecture, where their contributions greatly enriched the discussions.
