On Monday, March 6, 16.00 the opening of the RISEBA University Faculty of Architecture and design (FAD) BA architecture graduate project exhibition RE-CREATION will be held at the National Library of Latvia first floor exhibition hall. The 15 exhibited bachelor projects share common urge to revive, recreate and with a new ambition discover the abandoned buildings, industrial heritage building complexes with the lost functional fulfillment, former production or recreation buildings or deficient urban space. The exhibition will also display the 21m2 large scale model of 2nd-year architecture student project of RIGA LOWER EAST SIDE.
Together with the opening the projects catalogue “THE FAD BA Thesis Book. 2017” and the long-awaited school’s yearbook “THE FAD BOOK. The First Five Years of FAD. 2011 – 2016” will be presented.
The exhibition will be open from 7 March to 1 April, 2017 and accompanied by two special events.

Final BA Thesis presentations and reviews for academic bachelor programme ARCHITECTURE students at RISEBA University Faculty of Architecture and Design will take place on Tuesday, Jan 31, starting from 10.00. Altogether 15 graduates will defend their thesis projects in order to receive Bachelor degree of Engineering Sciences in Architecture: Viktorija Arestova, Kristīne Bekasova, Bruno Bitaitis, Juta Davidovska, Ervīns Gorelovs, Artūrs Krastiņš, Jolanta Liepiņa, Artūrs Mališevs, Mārtiņš Māls, Mārica Martini, Anita Pumpure, Aļona Purvlīce, Guzal Saidmuradova, Elīna Semjonova, Herta Vītuma.

1st-year architecture students from FAD teamed up with the artists Julien Morel (FR), Māris Grosbahs (LV) and architects Didzis Jaunzems, Dina Suhanova (LV) to reveal the art installation in the front yard of RISEBA Architecture and Media centre H2O 6. The installation became a part of Staro Rīga 2016 festival events and program taking place across Riga from Nov 17 until 20. Official opening was held on Thursday, Nov 17, 17.00 / Str. Durbes 4.
