Slice of Architecture: Power to Renovation

What is HouseEurope!?

HouseEurope! is a non-profit European Citizens' Initiative advocating for EU laws that make building renovation easier, more affordable, and socially inclusive, emphasizing the benefits of renovation over demolition.

Sign here if you support renovation over demolition: https://eci.ec.europa.eu/052/public/#/screen/home

We advocate for a Right to Reuse for existing buildings, focusing on:

Tax reductions for renovation and reused materials.

Fair evaluation of buildings' risks and potentials.

New standards for CO2 embedded in structures.

Our goal is to preserve homes, support local businesses, save energy, and promote laws that prioritize renovation over demolition.
