Congratulations to our faculty lecturer, Jana Jākobsone! She has been honored in the competition “Women in Architecture, Construction, and Design.” 

On July 11th, the award ceremony for laureates of the 2023 forum “Women in Architecture, Construction, and Design” took place in Sigulda. Jana Jākobsone, our faculty lecturer, has made invaluable contributions to preserving Kuldīga’s historic heritage. Her passion for Kuldīga and all of Latvia led to international recognition—Kuldīga’s Old Town was included in UNESCO’s World Heritage List in September 2023. 

Let’s celebrate Jana Jākobsone’s remarkable achievements and her dedication to cultural heritage, with a special focus on Kuldīga!
