Slice of Architecture: Design, Activism, Research

This May 15th, Pēteris Bajārs from @outofbox.lv will be at FAD presenting his Slice of Architecture with the theme: Design, Activism, Research: In the Footsteps of the Forgotten Talent of Ansis Kalniņš.

“Some coffee brand searching for new paradigms came up with a slogan - one thing leads to another. It couldn’t be more precise to describe OUTOFBOX Architecture’s activities. Through the design process and pro-activism, the office conducted several research which led to publications and exhibitions. Now the office is attempting to rewrite the pages of the modernist architecture of 1930’s Latvia. Pēteris Bajārs will present the ongoing research journey following the footsteps of a forgotten talent, Ansis Kalniņš”.
